IELTS is not a requirement to study and pursue higher education in Bulgaria. As Bulgaria is a popular choice for Medical, Pharmacy, and Engineering students most of the top universities require the applicants to qualify for an entrance test to get enrolled in that university.

Bulgaria offers fully funded or partially funded scholarships to international students. The tuition fee in Bulgaria is considered one of the lowest in the whole of Europe. The Bulgarian government scholarship program is open to local students.

Partial scholarships are offered based on the academic excellence of the student. Scholarships have been granted to the programs taught in the Bulgarian language.
